About the Bar
Calamine clay is as good as pink gold during the summer months. This bar is unscented and is filled with the goodness of calamine clay, aloe, and colloidal oatmeal. Its namesake, the snallygaster, is part-bird, part-reptile, part octopus and looks as funny as its name sounds. Borne of superstitions from German immigrants, this weird creature has large wings, claws, and a beak like a giant bird, sharp teeth and a dragon-like tail, and tentacles. It was first reported in Maryland and was since spotted in Washington, DC. It is said to swoop down, snatch its victims, and suck their blood. Depictions of the snallygaster vary widely, but in some depictions, the creature has pink skin. We took a little liberty with this one since these soap bars have a natural pink hue from the calamine clay.
