About the Bar
Mothman is perhaps the most famous cryptid to come out of West Virginia. He's been reported around Point Pleasant since the 1960s and has since become a cult favorite nationwide and the subject of Hollywood movies and documentaries. He is described as a large, winged man with glowing red eyes. If you love Mothman as much as we do, you can attend the annual Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, visit the Mothman Museum and Research Center, and say hello to the 12-foot Mothman statue.
