About the Bar
Those familiar with Jewish and Christian theology will no doubt be very familiar with Lilith and her reputation. Adam's first wife, queen of demons, or embodiment of the dark feminine, whatever you call her, she evokes the spirit of independence, sensuality, and empowerment. In Judeo-Christian texts, Lilith and Adam were both molded from the same clay. She refused to be subservient to him and demanded equality in her relationship. She was exiled from the Garden of Eden for this and became a wanton monster and demon of the night. She has become an icon to some modern feminists who use her story as an example of the demonization of women who refuse to conform to societal expectations.
This soap smells intoxicating. We don't normally use perfume dupes, but this one was so alluring that it had to be Lilith. The bar features swirls of midnight black, rose red, and skull white. It's topped with a handcrafted red soap rose and a skull, and each bar is stamped with Lilith's symbol in shimmery red.
